Harvest Grille

My wife and I eat here as often as possible, despite living about an hour away. The food and service are always fantastic and it is nice to have a healthy option. Thank you to the owner and staff!

I have been coming to the Harvest Grille for quite some time and unfortunately I find myself writing this negative review, with the intention the owner sees it. First of all I am giving the Fountainview location a poor rating because management has drastically fallen apart. My husband ordered a Campechana that is supposed to have Shrimp and Lobster. Once the Campechana was dropped of at our table we noticed there was NO lobster only 6pieces of shrimp with tons of tomatoes. When we addressed the waitress to bring it to her attention, her response was " I'm sorry we are out of Lobster". So I am wondering why would you serve your guest something you know doesn't have one of the main ingredients. Than she replied if we like we could have a 10% discount on the Campechana or get a side. We just found it very unpleasant for the staff to treat us as fools and not say anything until we noticed and expect for us to still pay for such thing. Not to mention the menu has drastically changed. Also the restaurant is extremely dusty and could use better cleaning. It's such a disappointment a place like this has poorly fallen apart. Therefore my family and I will not be returning.

The food was straightforward and tasted good. We were happy to see lots of vegetarian options. The waitress was very friendly. She and the owner were happy to take the time to walk through the menu and discuss many of the items with us, as well as the sourcing of their ingredients (we had asked what was organic). Mustafa is doing a good thing here; he is genuinely interested in serving high quality organic food, which is hard to come by. I don’t live in Houston, but if I did, I would certainly be a repeat customer!
