this place is terrible. i was abused and got thrown at walls and dropped on my head. i got sent to juvi BC of something so little. the staff hurts and restrains the kids for no apparent reason whatsoever. i got kicked out BC of a fight and what i don't understand is why this place is still open- there has been so many reports. if we try to AWOL (run away) then they tackle us to the ground and start punching us. one girl got her arm and nose broke by a big staff lady. i do NOT recommend this placement for any kids. this place needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!

I am a CASA advocate for a foster teen placed at the facility. Serenity is helping him with his depression and anxiety He is happy there. The staff is always professional and considerate to me and my teen. Mr Kenneth James case mgr. goes above and beyond to be a mentor to my teen. He also keeps me informed and answers my calls even off his days off. I would love to clone Mr James and place one of him at every Residential Center for children in the country

I want there and I was able to change for my own good I don't know what others might think or how blind there are but this place is good I don't regret a thing The food was good and they had structure. They help me to see that being defiant or somebody i'm not is not the way but to be who you are meant to be.
