A service technician had come out previously to diagnose the problem and had ordered the parts to fix the leak in our dishwasher that was under warranty. The technician that arrived to complete the repair was unprofessional and inept. He replaced some of the parts that had been ordered, but not all, started the dishwasher cycle and left the house without notifying us that the job was finished. I realized he was gone when I smelled something burning. I walk into the kitchen to see the dishwasher running, water all over the hardwood floors, and the stovetop on, burning through a cast iron pan. He did not stay through the dishwasher cycle to see whether the repair was completed (it was not), but still reported the repair complete with no leaking. And in his haste to leave he either hit the knob on the stovetop accidentally or turned it on deliberately. Looking closely we noticed the electrical box wasnt reinstalled properly either and was sitting in the water. We called Sears and their repair service multiple times that day and received no call back. We had to make another appointment with Sears just to get someone out to fix the problem they created. Our floors are now buckling and we are without a dishwasher for another two weeks because the original diagnosis was wrong and not all of the parts needed were ordered. Rogelio Sears technician was fantastic in explaining what was wrong with our GE Profile refrigerator. He was honest and answered all of our questions.
