Living here has been a nightmare. Let's start with the A/C. After the hard freeze, we have had serious A/C issues with the apartment. At time the apartment reaches 90 degrees. About once to twice a month we have put in a concern and we get updates "Freon has been added". At one point, a maintenance assistant stated "well, you are on the third floor". Fifteen minutes after that, it was discovered that there was a serious issue with our A/C unit. However, we are still having the same issue. Maintenance stopped coming to the actual apartment to actually check and just closes the ticket with the same message. German roaches are a huge issue. Since moving in, we have put in Pest Control tickets. If you don't know what German Roaches are, then know that they are not the typical roach. Seeing them means that there is an infestation. Every time we open the dishwasher, it is guaranteed that 2-3 will fall out. We are at the point that we are about to pull out the dishwasher ourselves and deal with it. When Pest Control does come out, they do not have all the information that we told the office, which leads to them just doing a simple spray down and leaving. There is a serious infestation and though I can be lenient, I can say with confidence, the the leasing office does not care. Our breezeway is full of trash. Valet Trash is an awesome accommodation, but the office does not follow up or inspect tenientes to ensure trash isn't spilling on the breezeways. Several times, concerns have been put in. Though it is said that follow up has happened, the problem persists. Walking out, you can smell neighbors trash and constantly have to pick up someone else's stuff that ended up in front of your door. We have even caught someone sweeping trash to other people's doors. It is disgusting, especially when someone has food dripping down the stairs where you walk. There are really cool aspects of the apartment that do stand out, but they do not stand in front of some serious issues here. Being new to Houston, Old Farm has not made it a warm welcome. The worst is that their are people in the leasing office that are sincere, but not enough are. Either a change in management or better allocated resources are needed. If you are viewing the apartments, take time to walk around and see if you can talk with someone living here, you will be blown away about what you hearing. "Are you happy here? I am not, I have been screwed too many times" -Random gentleman I met at the mailbox.

Been living here with my wife and kid for three years now and just renewed for the fourth year. The place still decent but you do get tenants every once in a while that make the place looks bad but overall the place is good. Apartment are big with high ceilings and has that clean feeling. Maintenance was always good, however it’s been kind of challenging to get them to do something recently, luckily the community manager, Ms Taylor Caldwell, is monitoring all the service requests nowadays and she helped pushing everything forward. I am glad she is member of BH Management now.

Egads run from this place! The only good reviews here are paid! I lived here simply because they could accommodate my family size with stand alone units and garages. Rent was too high, non-responsive office help, slow and inadequate maintenance services and a person was KILLED when I lived here. Much better places in the areas than this s*it hole.
