Us Bayou Park

A good example of you of the saying you get what you pay for. I wouldnt recommend living here if you could afford something better. Not comfortable for young adults as there are kids running around unsupervised in the parking lot and the gym constantly. The gym is especially bad. Literal children with parents anywhere near running around and playing with actual heavy equipment as if it cant hurt them or someone around them.

***DO NOT MOVE HERE** All the good reviews are from people who havent lived here long enough to know the problems yet. My apartment had a leak the entire time I lived there in my bedroom. Every time it rained my room would be flooded. Also the pool was closed soon after I moved in for health reasons by the city. My upstairs neighbour also burst a pipe in their kitchen which caused several leaks in my mine and they did nothing except repair the pipe. I absolutely have mold in my walls. There are also termites in some buildings. The neighborhood kids dig in the trash. People was rugs in the common areas and leave there out to dry. Lastly the fire alarm goes off randomly. The city also makes regular visits to the property.

Roofers left shingles all over my patio with nails, water has been brown for the 2 years I've been here. There is still roaches for those 2 years also. The exterminaters they hire just spray and walk away no actual effort in getting rid of the problem and it seems to be the whole complex considering i have a friend who lives on the other side of the same complex with the same problem. Roaches will come as soon as you move in even if you checked the apartment before.Most walkways to apartments on 1st floor on the outside are flooding during light rain. There are termite witness marks on structural parts on the buildings near staircases that have not Been fixed. Yet they choose to increase your rent to hire people that have no regard to your safety while doing roofing. The 2nd floor hallways that make you feel like your on acid because the foundation is about to go into the bayou.
