I gave two stars because although office personnel were very amicable to deal with, they acted in a very unethical and dubious manner with workers. Prologistix has a habit of sending out more people than the company needs to the work site because they feel that not everyone will show up. The problem with this is that it takes GAS and or GAS MONEY to get to the work site. When individuals show up to the work site many get turned away because the company has enough workers out there already. Prologistix 'intentionally' avoids letting workers know that they get what is called a 'come out fee'. Meaning, they get about two to four hours of pay. We had to rely on the floor supervisor at the actual work site to let us know about this fee. When some of us inquired about the fee from Prologistix office staff we were met with anger and the office staff demanded to know 'who told us' about this fee. Unbelievable. Prologistix office management then stated that they had 'no knowledge' of the fee (which turned out to be ONE BIG BALD LIE) and that they had to 'take time to find out about it'. After some of us called up to higher management we were assured we would be paid for the allotted agreed upon hours (between the company and Prologistix) for coming out to the site and being sent home and when the higher management added the money to our checks, the office staff turned right back around and took the money off. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We had to call back down to the Corporate office to have the money put right back on our checks. Now this upsets me. I understand that Prologistix may operate on slim profit margins but these positions paid MINIMUM WAGE and they are taking money from the LOWEST most VULNERABLE people. They are basically overlooking the agreement they have with the company to pay workers for coming out to the site when they get sent home, and POCKETING THIS MONEY INSTEAD. This is wrong. It is ethically wrong and MORALLY WRONG. SHAME ON PROLOGISTIX.
