I have worked with a bunch of local builders and custom homebuilders. My experience with this builder was extremely unprofessional and bad. The individual answeringtheirphone had poor customerservice, hung up, and never provided any relevant information or answered any of my questions. Needless to say. I will not be working with this company if this is the first impression received. I can't imagine what the building process would look like. I can not express how important it is to receive quality service in a custom build from the initial contact to the very end. Building a home is a long process and can be stressful. This initial response wasn't friendly or helpful. Beware, ask lotsof questions.

After a career in the Air Force and with IT companies, when Sherry and I were looking to build our final retirement home, we found an outstanding builder in Georgetown that had custom home building options on 1+acre lots which was just what we wanted.   We just happened to stop in The Ridge at Cross Creek subdivision just off Hwy 29 between Georgetown and Liberty Hill one afternoon and it was meant to be!   Our initial and overall impression after visiting with Kay Nolting, the sales associate at the model home was ... This is it!!!   It wasn't long before we selected and held our lot and started working with the builder Luke Basey and our dedicated building super Jeremy Tidwell.  This was by far the easiest and smoothest custom home build we've ever done.   We were in the home 2 months earlier than promised which was awesome.  We know have been in our home for 6 months and everything is perfect!  We've had no issues and nothing but joy in owning this well-built custom home ... It is exactly how we had envisioned and everything we had hoped for.   I want to complement Luke and his entire team of professionals on a great home buying experience.   Everyone from Kay to Luke to Jeremy and the design associate Nancy and all of their handpicked subs, I feel like we got the best of the best.   Sherry and I have been very pleased with the overall quality of the build, the interior and exterior finish with the cabinetry, paint, counter-tops, bathrooms, the custom outdoor patio/grill area, and superb jobs on both the Audiovisual set-up by Tim McKelvey, Trinity AV Solutions and on the beautiful landscaping by Ronnie Heller and his team.   I can't recommend more highly Clear Rock Homes ... They will not disappoint!!   This is also a great neighborhood with easy access to roads leading where you need it to in all directions ... Ideal!

Do NOT use this builder! He cuts corners everywhere he can just to save a buck.  For example, our $500K home has:  MDF base, none of the 16 doors in the home are square, none of the electrical outlets are centered on the wall for TV placement in a room, the master bath shower leaks even though they "fixed" it.  The cabinets are lower quality than Ikea and the bottoms are make from a very thin sheet of something.  The granite on one of the kitchen counters was not bullnose cut like the rest- the super Jeremy said "it couldn't be fixed".  There is no drain in the utility room and the flooring has hollow spots.  He got away with this shoddy work because we lived out of state and were not here on a daily basis to create a punch list.  BTW, his "interior designer" is his bookkeeper who appears to be color blind given her choice of materials.  The owner is known in the building, real estate and architecture circles as a sleaze who does only the minimum to pass the city inspections.  AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
