Island Breeze Shuttle

Our group utilized Island Breeze for transportation from IHA to Galveston cruise terminals, and also the return (Cruise terminal to IAH). Man, we had some pretty big hiccups with our flight but Jim was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating to our changing needs. He also shared with us some tour type facts about the areas as we drove by. Nice and comfortable shuttles and I felt safe. I would definitely use this company again!

I really hate leaving negative reviews but this was a rough experience. The initial pickup from the cruise to our hotel was great. We got off board an hour early and the driver was very accommodating to pick us up early and it was much appreciated. The trip from Galveston to IAH was challenging. We asked the first driver what time we should leave and she suggested 8:30. She said she would communicate that time to the company so we were picked up at the right time. By 8:43 we were still sitting at the hotel. I called the company and she abruptly said she would check with the driver. Her response was that he would be there in 12-15 minutes.9:10 rolls around and still no driver. I called 3 times with no answer to the company number. I left a voicemail and never received a response. I texted the driver from the prior day and she responded that the driver was just a few minutes out. He ended up showing at 9:25 and said that the email with the updated time never came through because of the rain the night before?? IAH was a disaster so in order to make the flight two of our party had to purchase clear and still barely made the flight. I would have left one star but the first driver was great.

All I can say is incredible, wow, amazing, awesome! We had the day from hell with Alaska airlines, multiple delays due to maintenance issues, but no matter what, Lucky with Island Breeze was reassuring, letting us know that he would be waiting for us as soon as we finally made it to Houston. When we finally arrived in Houston, Lucky made sure we knew where he was parked and made it easy to find the shuttle. While in route to Galveston, Lucky was informative, friendly and funny. Once we got to Galveston, Lucky drove past local sites pointing out points of interest for our adventures the next day. Thank you Lucky and Island Breeze for making an otherwise horrible day so much better!

We recently utilized Island Breeze when going on our Caribbean cruise. Pickup at IAH was super simple; Jim communicated where he would be and gave me specific directions on where to meet him. He was even nice enough to pick up our other passenger from a separate terminal! Our driver (we had Jim and one other as our party was so large), whose name escapes me, was super informative, friendly, and down to earth. Upon returning to Galveston from our cruise, disembarkation was AWFUL. Roly was super nice in communicating they were there early. Unfortunately, our disembarkation was delayed due to customs so Roly had to leave. However, Lucky stayed. He was absolutely fantastic. I kept communicating our status, he was super understanding and kind. He waited until about 11a (our original pickup time was 9:30) to pick us up! He offered to drop some of us off at the airport and return for the rest of us. Our flight didn't allow it, so we had to book an Uber as well. Long story short, Lana is wonderful and communicative; the drivers are indescribable; I'll definitely use them anytime I travel to Galveston/Houston and would recommend to any one without hesitation.
