Dickey's Barbecue Pit

This was my first visit to this location, off 423 in Little Elm, not impressed at all. They were out of baked potatoes and I ordered ham and received turkey. I can say the resturant was clean though.

The food was good, but the service was so-so. They kept getting our order mixed up. I also still prefer Dickey's cafeteria line format, even though it has been a couple of years (at least) since they changed.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Coke freestyle machine was out of a lot of flavors though & they didnt seem too concerned

The service there was absolutely terrible. There were new workers who were rude, it didn’t look like they knew what they were doing, and they didn’t know how to smile. The floors weren’t clean, the tables weren’t clean and the bathrooms were nasty. Also it smelled like mildew last time I went there. I recommend the Little Elm Dickey’s, on Eldorado. The new investor in the store, acts like a child who just likes to spend his parents money, he’s rude to his customers, and he was rude to the old employees who didn’t wanna stay and work for him so they left. No one in the store has a licenses to be handling and cutting the meat. I’m so sorry for the workers who have to work under that guy, and I’m also sorry I have to write such a terrible review on this store, that used to be an amazing restaurant.
