Ablon Apartments

Just like the lady that posted a review a few days before me, I am also being charged an absurd move out fee. I rented at the Civic for 6 months and was barely ever there. They are now trying to charge me 650 dollars upon move out. They told me that they had to replace the microwave for 500 dollars. If the microwave was broken I would have reported that to maintenance. To add to that fact, I used it the night before I moved out. It is evident that this place seeks to take advantage of its previous residents. Upgrades and common wear and tear is the responsibility of the property, not previous tenants. I reached out to the property staff via email and was completely ignored. I also went in person to discuss these issues and was completely ignored again and told that I could not talk to anyone. The lack of professionalism and shady business practices is appalling. I will also not be paying the absurd fees. Ive lived in several apartments and have never been treated like this. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else but here.

Do not move here!!! I lived at The Civic for 2 years with no problems. I left my apartment SPOTLESS at move out. But I am now being charged OVER $800 to replace carpet, replacing subfloor, replacing a glass cooktop, and extra cleaning. All of which are routine maintenance that should occur at the owners expense if it is not considered their standard. NOTHING WAS DAMAGED, my deposit is gone, and I was reported to a debt collector before I could even talk to management about this issue. I am now collecting evidence for court as I refuse to pay that ridiculous amount. My time living at The Civic was peaceful and staff was extremely polite. I am very disappointed with the owners and management. I am attaching photos from my move out to this review! AGAIN, NOTHING WAS DAMAGED OR BROKEN. If the owners want upgrades THEY NEED TO PAY FOR IT THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OLD RESIDENTS.

We love living here at the Civic. Its centrally located and in the middle of where almost everything in Frisco if happening.
