The Sanctuary Yoga Room

So delighted to find The Sanctuary Yoga Room that just regrouped and opened again this fall 2021! We just moved here, and I've been doing yoga for decades and appreciate the beautiful, soothing space with Moroccan niches and dozens of flickering candles (LED). The instructors have strong yogic knowledge and, equally important to my experience, is their lovely spiritual orientation which is nurturing for the soul beyond a physical work out. Nice place to start but unfortunately went south. The classes are supposed to be hot but instructors will frequently not turn the heat panels on or have the fans on, which is not what I signed up for. The classes are sparsely attended. Recently, I showed up for a class and the instructor simply didnt show. It happened again today, you cant tell on the website when classes are cancelled and I shouldnt have to look everyday to see if they have enough instructors to cover their schedule. If two locations are too much to manage, they should combine down to one.

The first time I visited this studio, I knew I'd found my new yoga home. It's so mellow and relaxing with a variety if classes for everyone. Definitely give it a try at either location.

If you are looking for a true yoga experience, sanctuary is for you. The instructors are amazing, the classes are well constructed, and the tone is very on point. I've had good classes at other studios but nothing compares to the feeling I got when I left sanctuary. 100% the best studio in Fort Worth.
