image They don't answer the phone and the emails go unanswered. First time I called a lady picked up told me to email some other lady and then when I did I never received a response email I've also submitted a tour request on their site and received no answer. Called them and left a voicemail mail with my phone number, no answer. I'm honestly surprised anyone was even able to sign a lease.

image Move out update: See you in court Tides on Randol East! I was charged for two months after moving out. I was contacted by Jeanita(JJ) Johnson because she was doing evictions thinking I was still living there, even after giving back my keys. After explaining the poor communication from this place and showing proof of everything she said she would help me out. Unfortunately that was another lie! I just got a statement saying I owe over $2,000. I will not be bullied by this horrible property anymore.
I have a few things to review: leasing issues, management, and ROACHES!!! Please read all the bad reviews, they are not lying about anything! I wake up uncomfortable and go to sleep uncomfortable in this apartment and it has only been a week! This is no way for anyone to live.
Leasing issues: when I first applied I applied for an 800sq foot 1 bedroom for a little over $800. When I sent application and security fee they changed the apartment number and raised the amount to $933. It annoyed me but that was still pretty cheap so I didnt argue and I also already paid! When I received my welcome letter they gave me the wrong amount to bring in on the day I move in, which happened three times so who really knows if I over paid. They blamed a new worker that didnt know what she was doing but why wouldnt the property manager look over everything before move in??? On the day of my move in my apartment was not ready nor clean, which is suspicious because it was not occupied for weeks. So they showed me another which was not the correct square footage and looked disgusting! Since the apartment I was supposed to move into was not cleaned and the other one was not the same square ft or presentable they forced me to get another one that is $62 extra! The funny thing is the apartment that I got for $62 extra dollars is the correct sq ft that I applied for but some how it is more the day that I moved in. The manager claimed that I was getting a deal though which I do not believe.
Management: This property and the workers have a HUGE communication problem! I told multiple people (April, who still works there) that I needed to move my things in at 11am even though it states on the move in letter that move in is after 3pm. They all told me it was okay and I made sure to double, triple, quadruple check that it was in fact okay. I walked into the office at 11am and they say they are not ready for me to move in. Im sure you can imagine how annoyed I was. The manager was very disrespectful to me when I did not like how they were not ready for me to move in. She raised her voice and got frustrated at me as if I was not the one getting scammed. They also never answer the phone so you have to take time out of your day to go to the office. The last thing I want to do is look at their faces and be annoyed about them scamming me all over again.
Roaches: coming from living in nasty places that were infested with roaches and other pests I vowed to never have to deal with that again. When I was finally able to get my keys to my apartment I saw nothing but dead roaches. 32 dead roaches to be exact. If there are 32 dead roaches I knew that there is an infestation and more are more than likely hiding somewhere in the apartment. Im the first few hours of moving in and unpacking I had to kill 2 roaches already! It was in the middle of the ice storm so think about what it will be like in the hot weather which they thrive in!!! About an hour ago I just had to kill yet another roach! I was eating and it just walked up to my food. This is ridiculous. I am a very clean person and knowing that they have a roach problem I do not leave any food or anything edible out. The fact that I can not even eat in peace without roaches showing themselves is ridiculous and disgusting. I found the dishwasher filled with old smelly water which Im sure is also attracting the roaches. I texted and emailed Dulce about it and never got an answer. Am I even surprised?

image My move in date was 2/13/24. Didnt get my keys until 2/20/24. The communication during that process was HORRIBLE. I had already paid the rent for the move in date of 2/13 and was told I would be refunded the difference and I was not. Upon move in I have found 19 things broken or wrong with the apartment. The main things are: broken windows, no hot water, broken internet modem, clogged sinks, broken dishwasher, cant do laundry, and how filthy the floors still are despite using multiple different things to clean it. I still do not have mailbox keys so I cannot even get mail delivered. I put in numerous maintenance requests and they were all moved to completed even though nobody had even entered my apartment. No communication through this process as well. I emailed them twice and didnt get a response until I went in to the office. So I paid rent and moved into apartment where I cant take a hot shower, where I cant wash my dishes, where I cant do laundry, and I have to wear shoes in my own home, because how dirty it is. The amount of illegal things that have happened during my lease is insane. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Please save yourself from the stress and anxiety that is Tides on Randol East.
