This place is a train wreck a perfect example of terrible management. I took my wife to Ferre for date night on a Saturday at 8:00 we had reservations for 8:30 but we offered a table because they were dead. Once seated we ordered a couple of glasses of wine and ordered. We had a hard time finding our server and by the look s of other people trying to eat they were feeling our pain. I flagged the guy down because we wanted another glass of wine before finishing ours since it could be sometime until we saw him again. I thought is was crappy that when you pay $10-$12 per glass of wine we didnt get a full glass just a top off. But I generally don't complain so I let it slide. The server stopped by a couple of times letting us know our food would be out next after being there close to a hour. When our food came out some other person brought it and let us know "your plates are very hot" a bad sign for food that has been sitting on the warming aisle. When I was asked to cut into my steak it was over cooked and cold, the sides were cold. My wife ordered the crusted trout the plate was hot the food was cold. To have such a good location and really a nice looking place its pretty sad. This place would be perfect for one of those restaurant rescue TV shows.

We had a fantastic experience. The food was fabulous, and the staff was attentive. There were even several choices for someone on a gluten-free diet, such as myself. I especially enjoyed the dessert wine. The location across from Bass Hall is perfect. This is an excellent date night!
