My daughter agreed to get help for depression, and this hospital is an in-network provider for Cigna (which I am working diligently to change) so we took her here. Within days she expressed to us that they did not provide 1 on 1 counselling or any of the resources she felt would help her get better. The doctor told her that if she left, he was "the only doc in Fort Worth" able to prescribe the medication they had her on. I told her that sounds like complete B.S. and we can go to a hospital outside of Fort Worth who can provide her the services she felt she needed. The doctor kept feeding her lines to keep her at Wellbridge. She was afraid of her roommate too but remained in the same room the duration of her stay. Just a very short 4 days upon her release my daughter went to be with angels. I have contacted records at least a dozen times to find out what exactly went on during her stay but I keep getting sent to voicemail. The only time I did speak with someone she said she would email me the form needed to obtain them. That was nearly 2 weeks ago and still nothing. What are they hiding?? My daughter struggled with mental illness, but she was so beautiful both inside and out. She was kind to everyone and never held a grudge. Well, mama bear does and I will continue to spread the word about this awful place until it is shut down or at least off of any and all provider lists and networks. Please do not take your loved ones to this facility. There may be limited options for help in the state of Texas, but keep looking until you find any place other than Wellbridge.

Please do not take your loved ones here. My sister was having suicidal thoughts so our family convinced her to get help. We decided on this place because it was covered by insurance. To further collect insurance money, the doctor threatened to not write by sister a prescription for depression and anxiety unless she stayed for another week. Four days after a two week stay here my sister ended her life. They offered her no counseling. They offered nothing to get to the root of her core issue, besides an assortment of medication that the doc threatened to cut her off of. Please please please do not trust these people to help someone you love.
