My wife and I contracted trinity river fence and outdoor to do a large project. Jason represents himself as an owner of that company. They then sub contracted part of the work to north Texas lawn and sprinkler. The absolute worst experience you could have from a contractor. 3 months to do a job we were told would take 3 days. We did get a lot of rain this spring so I'm sure some of the delay was due to the rain. However, the constant no shows and excuses such as "cant get any help", " I had a truck stolen", " my daughter was sick" etc etc was just ridiculous.
They dropped a guy off with a bobcat who had little to no experience running one, to remove old grass and prep for new sod. Well, he dug us a lake. After SEVERAL complaints of standing water they send a couple guys to remove sod and drop a couple bags of topsoil and call it good. The problem is it's no where near fixed. Ryan, another owner even texted me saying how bad the grading was ( of course I have all the texts saved) and that he was going to bring a mini skid steer back and bring in "yards" of dirt. I said fine but you have two weeks to get it done or your not getting the last chunk of money. They wait until the last day ( memorial day weekend) to try to come "fix" it. We told them we are done with your company. The "warranty" they offer is a joke as well. We've had to replace 8 shrubs that the company planted within a few days because they did not dig them deep enough. Not to mention purchase over $150 in additional mulch to make just the front yard look good.
Now, the city we live in is calling me asking if they have finished because they are no longer an approved contractor with the city due to requesting insurance information and not getting it from them. We were told by the city if they show up again to call the inspectors office immediately, do not let them work on your property.
The best part is Jason threatening to file a lien on our property for the remaining balance. That would be a about the stupidest and costliest thing he could do. We have all the text messages, video evidence and opinions from two other contractors as of the repairs needed. I'd be happy to take a day off work for that. Sad thing is, we just wanted it fixed right the first time.

Well I called Jason and they were supposed to be here between 4-6, no one showed up. I called and he said he will check with his guys and call me back and now not answering my calls. So not a reputable company.
