Mark & his crew did a phenomenal job totally redoing my landscape. From clearing everything out, hauling the old stuff away & planting all new plants, the process was seem less with great communication. Marks creativity in designing start to finish is better than I could have imagined myself. Will always use Smiths Lawnage Incentives in the future & highly recommend for anyone looking to fulfill their landscape dreams.

Smiths Lawnage (SL) sub-contracted out part of the landscape work, which I have no issues with, but when weather affected working conditions (spring rain), SL constantly complained to me about how the sub's work wasn't getting done. The sub contacted me separately on multiple occasions asking about scope and timeline of work because SL had very unclear expectations and poor communication. (which I mentioned to SL because some contractors don't like clients talking directly with their subs) - The sub also contacted me to make sure I knew that they will never work with SL again. The sub said SL criticized their work constantly, but gave very vague instructions and SL complained to me when questions were asked about clarification.
The original contract was an unsigned, non-descriptive, and didn't match the final invoice on work to be done, price, or work completed.
SL was VERY aggressive when they decided they were 'done' working (yet the sub was still working - and still worked for over 2 months). SL showed up at my house at dark knocking at my door and berating me over texts demanding payment, yet, we hadn't even received an invoice yet, nor even had one day to inspect the work done. I almost called the police it got so bad. After SL sent the first invoice (sub's work was still not done), they showed up at my house again demanding payment, yet the invoice was rescinded because no tax was included.
Half of the reviews on Angie's list are poor with very similar experiences - , I should have paid more attention.
Do not recommend.

I worked here for a week a few years ago when I was 19. The owner treats his employees like 2nd class citizens. Also pays less than minimum wage. I had a horrible experience working with smith lawnage. And the day I quit he told me I'm the type of person that would call him back for a job yeah right. I got a way better job as a plumber that ive had for years now. Do not use his services
