Isn't a seriously company, the office in Fort Worth always is closed and doesn't have a phone number to contact or ask for vacancies posted online, so sad wasted my time drove there and always closed

This People Ready is great, Man! All I had was the shirt on my back and the boots on my feet after a crazy fallout with the ex. Well they skipped the usual protocol of requiring the app to get sent out as a favor and sent me to somewhere nearby to work, during Covid, nonetheless. Within days I had a nice phone, weeks I had $800 in my pocket and actually 3 offers for a job as a painter, landscaper or in the role that I was placed! The staff were very patient, took a chance on me and I hope I made them proud.

Everything about this branch is HORRIBLE the first time I had an encounter with this branch was because one of their customers falsely put in 2 hours when I worked 5.5 hours. I left without speaking to the designated report to due to a personal feminine emergency (I had never met the report to when I arrived to the job site btw it was the supervisor I had met neither one in the trailer I checked in at when I was leaving or anywhere to be spotted on the site) .. instead I Let a coworker know I was leaving and called the branch right away to double make sure the manager was informed that I had left a couple minutes ago which obvi didn’t work. Thinking I could dispute these hrs I call the branch and Cand*** the ‘manager’ was Super rude after I tell her the client was fibbing on hours worked. After checking back with the customer she did not contact me to let me know they have decided to not pay me EVEN AFTER I PROVED I HAD NOT LEFT!(At the time stated) This act is illegal according to Texas labor laws but to this manager the clients word is Worth more than A laborer’s video proof. After speaking with her for the 3rd time going no where towards a solution to get the money I worked for a specialist tells me the proof I sent in was invalid since the customer is now saying that I was on my phone the whole time and not working. Which goes completely against my morals and character I did not drive 46 minutes to work a job to just be on my phone in a dark stinky construction site then leave after 2 hrs (less than $20) which is ridiculous something I’ve never done and won’t . Even after the client changed their story twice they believe them Anyways at first it was I had left completely and no one saw me now since I’ve sent in proof that I was in fact still there working my butt off they want to say I was on my phone and not working. Now that I’ve been in contact with corporate I’m hoping there is a different outcome and there will be a resolution Be Careful When Working For This Branch They Do Not Care About The Laborers Make Sure You Have Proof Of Work Otherwise Be Ok With Possibly Getting An Unprofessional Job And Not Getting Paid For Your Work
