Went in Today 5-16-22 to open a free checking as stated online. long story finished my yard work. washed up to look presentable at the bank. walk in the bank of: 600 Penn St, Fort Worth, TX 76102. you seen that one from the traffic to get to the other side of the bridge to the stores. Walked in to a empty lobby with a group contingency behind the teller's desk (Buffet should we put out of business today to buy in a liquidation sale). with over 25 minutes lift before 4pm. Greeted across an empty floor. Addressed with what service I would be needing today. I stated "the free checking as stated online". one female left the group as the rest stayed. one teller steps up to serve the new client. As, I'm looking around the new bank im about to start business with. A shift in the atmosphere from the workers. Made me ask Questions: are you guys closing, going to lunch or something? "I can leave if you have things to do and come back tomorrow". the teller that was helping stated you can call or go online to open an account. I said no. if I wanted to do it online I would have or call it also. But I enjoy coming in the bank to open an account. its starting to became a lost art. I was handed a card and I returned it back to them. I needed to open an account today. I said thank you for your help. then walked away. one of the tellers female comments off "well that was mean of him". thats the bank workers. I replied back as im walking away "YES I AM MEAN! Yes I did hear you. Some bank of Texas"
