This is a unique and effective way to truly unplug and tune out from the stresses of everyday life. I’ve been twice now and plan to continue going on a regular basis. I always leave feeling extreme relaxation.

Love the float experience. Come here several times a year, to relax and be truly quiet. Spring for a short aqua massage to start!

I was really excited to give floating a try. I have been researching and reading reviews about the positive benefits it has to offer for a few months. I've been really stressed out the last few days and thought it was time to finally give it a shot. I decided to book the Tranquility Express Package which includes a 10 minute Aqua Massage followed by and a 30 minute Float. I was supposed to get a confirmation email, but I never received it. I got to The Float Spot about 20-25 minutes early to ensure my booking was confirmed and I was able to fill out my forms in time. I was greated by a very nice receptionist/employee, who apologized but said she could not get into her operating system, so she couldn't see my reservation. She said her boss was going to be there soon to let her into the system, but that I could go ahead and fill out my forms ahead of time. I finish my forms, and sit for about 10 more minutes waiting for her boss to arrive before the lady said I could just get started. We go into the first Aqua Massage room, and since I carry all my stress in my shoulders, I wanted to see if it could target and hold a specific area to massage. That specific machine didn't have the remote to do that, but the other machine did, however the other machine had a leak in it and I'd have to wear a towel on my back. I decided that targeting the specific areas that I needed was more important, but I was slightly frustrated that one machine didn't have a remote, and the other was leaking. Regardless, the machine itself was the best part of the whole experience. It felt like a car wash for humans without having to get wet(other than the leak). After the 10 minutes was up, it was finally time to float. The boss still had not arrived to assist the lady with getting into her system. We go into the float room and the smell of mildew OVERWHELMED me. I had second thoughts about the cleanliness of the tank and wondered if I even wanted to continue. I couldn't cancel because I would lose the money anyway, and she couldn't even get in her system 40 minute after the business opened, so I continued. You rinse off in a shower that's in the room to get off any body oils, and then you get started. The float itself was interesting, but felt no different than floating in a swimming pool. I turned the lights off and opted for 10 minutes of binaural beats, followed by 15 minutes of silence, and then 5 minutes of the same binaural beats at the end. I was so hoping for complete sensory deprivation, but the smell of mildew was so strong that I could never really get lost in my thoughts and relax. After the float, I took a shower. They had body wash and shampoo, and they were supposed to also have conditioner, but the dispenser was broken, so I couldn't use the conditioner. I go up to the front to finish up, and after over an hour of the business being opened, she was finally able to get in the system and charge my card and I left. The lady at the front was very nice, but seemed stressed that things weren't working, and I was stressed and frustrated, as well. After going there seaking relaxation and tranquility, I had to worry about if I even had an appointment confirmed, had to deal with a leaky Aqua Massage or one I couldn't control, the smell of mildew took away all of the sensory deprivation since smell is one of your senses, and they didn't have conditioner for when I was complete, so my hair is extremely dry from the salt. All around, it was not worth the money and the hassle, and I wouldn't recommend this location
