I called them to identify the problem with my refrigerator as it was not cooling because the evaporator was icing. THEY DID NOT DO A FULL DIAGNOSTIC and went directly to replace the defrost heater. They charged me $90 for the part and $65 for labor. Three days later, the refrigerators evaporator started icing again preventing the air to circulate causing the refrigerator and freezer to not cool. I called them to report the problem and he stated that the warranty is not for labor and only for the part, he was going to charge me to do any other repair. He came 6 days later after two more phone calls to let him know to come and check it, and only did a visual check, not even removing the panel where the evaporator is, and said that he was going to replace the thermostat to see if that would correct the issue and that it probably was going to take some time for the part to arrive, but he never came back nor called. I preferred to do my own research on YouTube and found that appliance technicians do a full diagnostic checking the voltage and ohms of these parts: temperature sensor, thermostat, defrost heater, evaporator fan, and circuit board. I checked all those parts and found that the defrost heater that they replaced was not the one for my refrigerator, plus the evaporators temperature sensor had failed. I ordered the defrost heater, temperature sensor, and thermostat through Amazon for the price of $20 and got them in less than six days.
