I was skeptical about this place, but a well-trusted friend had me join her for dinner here one evening and I can't stop going back! I have tried the Bulgogi and ribs, so delicious. GO TO CAFE KOREA FOR BETTER SERVICE! Ordered over the phone to pick up. When I arrived there were 2 people paying so I got in line to try and pick up and pay. The lady at the register didn't acknowledge me in any way, she left the register as soon as this big family walked in behind me and assisted them by putting tables together and going into the kitchen area. There was a gentleman who was working there that just stood there looking at me and the lady at the register never came back out. I think it's disrespectful to put in an order and not pick it up..this is the first time I have ever walked out of an establishment after placing an order without my food. I've had it with the horrible interactions with almost every place we go to in El Paso. The Kalbi house definitely fits in with the rest of this unwelcoming city. I recommend going to CAFE KOREA right across the street where they will actually acknowledge and politely welcome you.
