Pete Natividad is the best at this location. Unfortunately if you are a patient with a chronic illness or younger than 50, they usually pushback the availability for appointment selection. The front desk is occasionally helpful, there is plenty of seating. If you have an option, go to the Kenworthy location instead.

Doctors are good.  Customer service is horrible.  I have been trying to share some concerns with the office manager for the last three days.  I have left messages and have not heard back.  That is not my primary concern but it shows me a lack of customer service. My problem is in making my appointment.  I called early Tuesday, 16th for a follow up and was tolls that they had no openings until the following Monday.  I was transferred to the nurse where I left a message to see if they could squeeze me in so I would not run out of my meds.  No return call was made to follow up with me.  When I called back, Tuesday the 16th at 2 pm, I was informed Now the office had no openings until the following Tuesday .  So I do have an appointment now but I am not happy with the way the staff addressed my needs.  I tried to contact your office manager on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with no resolution.I would have made my appointment after the first time I talked to nurse if she had suggested.  I would have made my appointment when I talked to the receptionist for Monday if she had suggested it instead of connecting me to the  nurse's voicemail (who also has not responded) thus forcing me to go without my medication another night as the appointments filled. The lack of communication, compassion, and care have me questioning my relationship with Thomas Medical.  I have always appreciated the convenience and quality of care in the past and this last week has been extremely trying.  So my suggestion, when needing a refill, schedule appointments at that time.   Return phone calls, a common courtesy.  Make appointment first before forwarding call to nurse's (they are busy and rarely can answer the phone) so that opportunities for appointments are not missed.  I am your patient and your customer.  This week, the people representing the business are jeopardizing your patients and customers.   I am truly disappointed.

Review of employee at check-in/front desk, not doctors. Lousy customer service. Arrived for an appointment yesterday only to be told they were not accepting new patients with my insurance, Humana HMO. That's their prerogative and it wouldn't be a problem except when I originally called to make the appointment, I specifically asked about that and was assured my insurance would be accepted. Not. The employee "assisting" me was unfriendly, rude, and unapologetic. Because of their incompetence, I wasted my time going to a non-appointment, had to find another PCP, make another appointment (in three weeks), and wait to get my prescriptions refilled.

As a current patient, who is completely insured and who has always paid promptly all my bills to them and who just received advertisement mail from them the other day, I was denied services this past week.  They claim to accept walk-ins, but when I went in his receptionist, Martha, interrogated me as though she was actually medically qualified to determine if I was important enough to be seen as a walk-in.  And she did this infront of all the people in the waiting room.  Her poor attitude and over the phone remarks to Mr. Natividad, NP made me feel like I was worthless as they discussed my reason for hoping to see a doctor that day.  The end result, she told me make an appointment if I really wanted to be seen because no one would see me that day.  I even told her that I was okay waiting if I could just see a doctor for a moment, but she still refused to provide me services. Then I emailed the owner/doctor, Dr. Thomas, who replied back with the most worthless response about the fact that they each saw 5-6 additional patients that day and they were too busy to see me.  Funny, because I was there right after they opened, realizing I may wait all day to see a doctor, and I was denied.  But they accepted everyone after me.  I have never caused issues for this doctor and have even recommended him to friends and family.  Not any more.  Definitely looking for a new PCP, even it it means driving across town.  True customer service, doctor-patient confidentiality, and respect are more important than having a doctor near my home.
