My son absolutely loves going to DBI! He truly developed a love of learning there and was always excited to tell me about everything he learned at school that day. As a parent it was such a relief to know he was in a safe environment and had caring teachers. The owners Angie and Sergio are wonderful and after a long summer two years ago searching for the right daycare I’m so glad I found DBI!

DBI has not only been tremendously helpful in teaching my child new skills, I would consider the staff family. The past year has been trying for all of us, yet we have felt safe and healthy. Our family would highly recommend Discovering Bright Ideas. This is the best daycare in El Paso hands down!!!

(Translated by Google) I really like this place, they are very attentive and although my daughter did not like to go at first, she got used to it and gained confidence. She felt protected by her teachers and all the girls who work there are very good and attentive. I really like to feel the confidence to leave my little one in the care of this nursery. The very attentive managers worked with me and with project above a program for nursing students, as you will understand, you already know that nursing students do not have time to spend with our family, and they were very attentive whenever I spoke to see how my daughter was, they communicated to me with her. The only thing I would like is that lunch will vary at least twice a week. But the food is homemade and the dinner I love that about this place because they are very responsible and I like to feel that my daughter is fine while I am not seeing her. I love this place very very much They are very professionals and look very deep into detail keeping my child busy and very flexible with her schedule right now with remote learning. I like to feel safe living my daughter with them because I know she is in good hands. I’m so disappointed that I can’t leave a good review for this daycare given that I was referred by close friends. My son started 6 months ago and it seemed like a good place for him, until just a couple days ago. I was notified by Angie *correction (the owner) that my son had been behaving differently such as pushing, and biting. Other children had previously scratched and hit my son and an incident report was signed, which I was very understanding. Toddlers are going to hit and bite. They are still learning and don’t know any better, but as soon as my son did it it was a bigger issue. A meeting was set up and she didn’t call or text so that meeting never came to be, so then the Monday I dropped him off she reassured me it was because there was a new teacher and it was multiple children behaving differently not just my son. (which she did not mention before) A few hours after she told me that she text me saying she wanted to speak to me AGAIN about his behavior. During our conversation she said he was going through a stage and that she wanted to see progress (within a week) if not I basically had to look for a new daycare. She started recommending where else I can take my son. She then added that he needed something more relaxed and not as structured for my son. (Mind you I’m a single working mom and I had 4 days to look for a new daycare) if anyone has ever looked for a daycare they know it’s very overwhelming and it takes time. I just also want to mention that my son is two years old and he’s never had a problem at the daycare until now (and if he did they didn’t notify me). They didn’t work with him through this stage for more than a week, and they basically told me they couldn’t handle him. I would receive calls in the middle of the day and I could hear my son crying in the background and I wouldn’t have a choice other than to leave work to go pick him up. He was going through a rough time but what two year old doesn’t go through a stage of having trouble expressing their feelings. They are still babies at this age they don’t know any better. I had never gotten any feedback from the daycare until my son started giving them a hard time, I would just drop him off and pick him up at the door, and when I was ask about how he was doing I was always get a brief response of “oh he’s doing good” “teacher said he slept good and ate good”. It wasnt until my child felt like a inconvenience to them that they want to start communicating and giving me feedback. Angie thanked me for being so understanding but I had no choice I wasn’t going to force my son to stay there when I felt like I was stepping on their toes. I felt so uncomfortable the last couple weeks I was here, and I felt so bad dropping my son off the last few days. I hope no one has to go through this with their child especially any other single parents out there. I’ve never heard of any daycare not accepting a child due to them acting like a toddler. I feel really let down by this place and I felt as if they were singling out my son. Please reconsider placing your child here. & I would just like to add in that my son is a TWO year old he doesn’t know any better. Parents put their trust into these business to reinforce good behavior when they aren’t there to do so themselves.
