First bus had transmission and gauge cluster issues. Twenty minutes into the trip we pull over and wait for a second bus to pick us up. Four hours into the trip the second bus dies on the interstate (nice). Driver says the issue is the oil is low (as I'm looking at a slow-drip coolant leak). One of the drivers walks down the road to a gas station to get coolant while I helped the other driver pour water into the coolant reservoir and close the engine bay door which had been taped shut. We start the bus up and get 200m down the road before the bus dies again. Start it back up and limp to a truck stop. Bus dies two more times there while we wait for the bus crew to buy bulk fluids to top off. Two hours later the luggage compartment door flies open and and almost smokes another bus passing beside us. Aside from that, this dog doesn't idle evenly. Highly recommend a thorough preventative maintenance check and service and full service across this fleet. Two stars because the drivers are nice folks.
