Cedar Ridge Family Medical Clinic

I love this place a lot and it's an awesome and caring environment, I always feel cared for and safe at this facility, but, the doctors priorities are something to criticize. If and when I find out who my doctor is at this facility I will list the name so that people in my situation can avoid her, but I have an issue with telling a patient who is only 20 pounds overweight to lose weight after having months of pain and numbness. I was told not only that, but to prioritize my weight over my pain, now, luckily I didn't and found out I have a chronic nerve disorder after they recommended me to a neurologist, but I might end up switching depending on the response I get after telling the doctor to stop mentioning my weight. It's not the first time it's been mentioned by her and considering my past with weight and the fact that doctors are not supposed to mention weight, point, blank, period, I would stray away from the office if you have a past with things like eating disorders because weight is something heavily focused on in every single appointment. Of course the issue I came in with is always given an answer, which is usually allergies and asthma concerns, but I have a scale at home and I am not only well aware of my weight, but proud of the fact that I'm a healthy weight size. If you are as well, I'd suggest telling the doctor right off the bat not to mention your weight, especially in such a blunt manner with no consideration to peoples past, but also because they aren't supposed to.

Our family and mother in law have been with Dr Hamlin and now Jana Baxter and Saundra for 50+ years! Home town care and not a cattle shoot environment!

Was astounded by the experience that I was in person to hear. A patient had a confusion with the front desk attendant and the desk attendant said not my fault you too broke to afford medical care. Never have I ever heard anything like that in any clinic.

Have been with them forever 5years . These are great personality from front desk to the doctors corner. They will listen to everything you have to say and gentle calm you and treat you right . Dr Jena always get my 5stars
