I called in to ask about Palliative care and spoke with Nicole, who was very sweet. She asked me questions and I answered them. Then she said to her it sounded like I needed hospice. So my name was sent over to the hospice intake. Saturday morning Ashton came out and took all my information and he said he was an intake nurse and he was certain that I would go on to hospice and that despite being told they have palliatve Ashston told me they only have palliative care in Decatur and they won't drive to Corinth. He told me not to worry. He gave me a since of hope that soon my pain and suffering would be eased. For the first time in a long time I felt hope. Then this morning (Monday) he called to tell me that I didn't qualify for hospice. So all the hope he gave me was dashed away in seconds. I guess that God just wants me to suffer through all this pain and nausea all the way to the because after this I have lost all faith in hospice care and pretty much our medical system as a whole. I will not call any hospice for any reason. I also will not be going to the E/r or anyone else. My muscles are already breaking down and it hurts to move so I will lay in my bed with no assistance from anyone and wait for God.
