I had gotten quotes from a number of glass and window repair businesses.  I just needed the glass portion of a couple of vinyl windows replaced because they had fogged.  Most vendors, including some of the biggest names, wouldn't do anything except replace the whole window for big bucks.  Two were willing to do the repair I wanted, and quoted about $600 for replacing two insulated glass units, argon-filled low-E, and said it would take 3-4 weeks to get the glass and make the replacement.  I think that was to make their high price sound like it was worth it.  Steven Zayas at DFW came out the day I called, measured the window, and installed upgraded replacement insulated glass units the next day!! for about half what the big names wanted.  And he was courteous, efficient, wore a mask - everything we could have asked for at half the price.  While he was at our house, he went next door and repaired our daughter's window for peanuts, too.  Call Steve Z first!
