Absolutely LOVE the inventory they carry and provide for chefs. Only problem is the inconsistent hours. Came by on a Friday at 145ish to find the store not opened. Total bummer considering they're only opened 2 days a week. Please update the hours of operation.

Only open two days a week. We went at 1 pm and met a warehouse worker whose was kind enough to help us reach the manager who was off site. He told us to come back the next day. Are you serious! For someone who caters to chefs the only time we have to buy necessary supplies is limited. He obviously doesn’t want to be in business for long...I will be taking my order elsewhere. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Clueless? Table for one… I think this may be the first negative review I’ve given on any business in about 5 years but I was underwhelmed by this “business” to the point that it’s worth the effort. First of all - save the gas. This business is in the bowels of Dallas and is so poorly situated that we would not have found it had Siri not insisted we were in the right place and we caught a glimpse of a chef’s coat in the window. Second - while both google and the landing/home-page of their own website says nothing about being closed, their doors were locked and the sign in the window said “call for help with orders”. So I did. Whomever it was that answered the phone was about as rude as I would have thought possible. I told him that we were calling for help per the sign’s instructions. He said that they were closed for COVID. I told them that I had looked online and it said they were open. He then told me that it was by appointment only and that if I had read their site I would have known that. (?!). I asked if we could order online. He said that if I wanted to I could fill out a bunch of forms and send him our credit card number and he’d order the stuff for us. (Ummm, I didn’t do this even in the ‘80s when it was an excepted business practice). So I ended the call. We drove home confident in the knowledge that we will never do business with this firm, ever. In fairness - after returning home I scoured the site and did find in the “contact us” page the note that they are by appointment only. So, a couple of recommendations to the “management” are in order. First, please re-train or fire whomever it is that answers the phone. Second, hire someone to redo your site. Don’t bury your availability on your website. Be a little more transparent. Finally - let it sink in that our daughter is a culinary student and part of a program that teaches several dozen students each year. We will be happy to share our experience with the parents of every student she interacts with along with their instructor. On a positive note, I would like to thank the “management” for the free object lesson on how not to run a business.
