Great location. Lots of restaurants and everything is close by. Lilly and Stephanie in the front office are great to work with especially when you run into issues. Somethings were out of their control but they did their best to help and are very welcoming. Gated parking. Love the unit but can only speak for vaulted ceiling unit. Must add to your list.

I visited the Dylan community because I was looking to relocate to Dallas. While I was working with Stephanie, Lilly came out and introduced herself and was very welcoming and pleasant to speak with- she seems to really enjoy her position and takes pride in the community she serves (impressive compared to other experiences I've had). Definitely keeping this property in mind as a top option.

I'm not sure if these other reviewers are being compensated or what. They all sound pretty similar. DO NOT LIVE HERE. You are next to the oldest government housing in Dallas. We hear 5-25 close-range gun shots each week outside our window. Even saw a man being shot at and running for his life diving and ducking in front of cars at 3pm this fall while working from home at my bedroom window. We are in the townhomes (more expensive than the apartments) and all of my neighbors have left since we moved in. No one wants to stay. Your packages WILL get stolen--the front gate that is supposed to be code entry only is always open. There is no key entry on the mail room. Their solution for this is to send residents emails and tell them to get their packages delivered TO THEIR PLACE OF WORK or a postal store directly. Another neighbor had their entire garage contents stolen from a guy going back and forth on a bike because the front gate was left open. Yes their garage should have been shut, but if the front gate was closed, that wouldn't have happened. Not to mention the weeeeeeeks it takes to get any maintenance request fulfilled. I've head ceiling leaks, floor leaks, air conditioning out (2x) and more since I moved in over a year ago, and the list goes on. Most of which have yet to be fully repaired. Lilly is nice and tries to help (although responses will take SEVERAL follow ups and maybe a week or more)--but the management here is a total fail. The phone IS NEVER answered, and no one is ever in the office when you walk in.
