Doctor Carlin saw my wife and daughter today regarding our recent Mosiac Turners diagnosis which is why we were here to see a Geneticist. First off, I know we are not the most prominent patients in society but to treat us like we weren't even in the room is just shameful. Then she has the nerve to come in with students and to watch like zoo animals or something, without any kind of request or permission from us, the parents! She was dressed so sloppy you can tell she's been in the business so long that she doesn't care about her patients anymore, the way she treated us and our baby was proof positive she cares less about the patients. Our daughter is breastfed and she told us that she could get too fat, a sign of Turner even though our Pediatrician says that's impossible! Then she says her two knuckles (pinky and ring finger) are smaller than the middle and pointer finger, another sign of Turners which we turned and looked at all of our fingers noticing we all have the same size knuckles she says is an indication of Turners (We have been ruled out with blood tests). Lastly, she says that our daughter has slanted eyes another indication of Turners...I'm F'ing Asian so my entire Asian family must have Turners because we all have slanted eyes to some degree or another. During her diagnosis she didnt even discuss with my wife but instead with the two students in the room, it's a good thing she no longer get's reviews or counts on patients anymore because she would get a big fat 0. I'm totally open to hearing the worst of the news but to be treated like we just brought in a puppy to the vet and this is supposed to be one of the best medical centers in Texas. Well she surely drops that score for us to a 0 and we will not be returning to the Childrens Medical Center unless we get an apology. If nothing else stay away from this MD if you value your children and their emotions because my 12 and 6 year old boys were in the room when she treated our baby like a defective animal, they came home in tears. Your just a bad MD and a mean person.
