My visit was in 2011. I agree the doctor is way to old. All I could remember is him humming and rubbing into between my thighs during the procedure. Very disturbing and close to molestation. Please don't go here. This place needs to be shut down. Even if it's a last minute decision, please don't go here. And cost is ridiculous

This place is a bit shady, but gets the job done. When getting there, I accidentally ended up in the clinic next door, "The White Rose" which is run by "prolife-ers". BEWARE, if you park in the White Rose parking lot, they will have you towed! Other women who accidentally ended up there said that the white rose will pose as the abortion clinic, saying (when you accidentally think you're at Routh Street Women's) and try to talk out of your abortion, even lying to you and saying you are too far along to have the procedure. They have many protestors outside. Routh Street is CASH ONLY, which I found out once there. $100 for your sonogram and $350 for the procedure. Shady they don't take cards because "they've had payment issues with cards" Wait time was long, and they called us in as a group to small room. I think they explained some basic legal stuff (can't really remember, this was back in February) and then they had us waiting in separate rooms for the sonogram. When the Dr. finally came, this little old man made me feel uncomfortable. He kept pulling my pants down pretty rough to do the sonogram. By law, the Dr. who does your abortion has to do the sonogram too. And since he's the only Dr. that does abortions there, he's also the one that has to do your sonogram. Also explains the long wait times and group appointments. Finally they found the embryo, and I thought I would get to hear the heart beat, but they actually didn't even let me see the sonogram, let alone hear it's heart. And I'm sure that's against the law? I asked later why I wasn't shown the sonogram and was told because it's a sensitive matter and it makes some people feel uncomfortable. I think that's the point though. If you are truly prepared to terminate a pregnancy, the picture or heart beat shouldn't change your mind. I asked for a picture of my sonogram to show to my boyfriend, and they gladly printed it for me. Once the sonogram was over, I waited in the waiting room again till I was called in by their health counselor for paper work basically saying yes I still want to terminate this pregnancy. She told me what to bring to my next appointment ($350 cash, period pads, and pain killers) My procedure appointment was 2 days later. Even Longer wait. Group of us went in to prep. They gave us two pills to dissolve in our cheeks (which seemed impossible to dissolve, so I slowly drank water to break them down) to dilate the cervix. Depending on how far along you are, you might have to take several sets of these. Then we were given some pills to take with water for diarrhea. Waited in room with other girls till Dr. was ready and we were called one at a time to prep. I was first. Got undressed and into the gown, in took gas for anaesthetic because IV is $50 extra while gas is free. Took deep slow breaths till Dr. came in about 20mins later. The gas works better when you take DEEP breaths. The Dr. Injected me inside with something to numb the area. The injection felt like a SHARP pain. Then he stuck the vaccume tube and swirled it around. The procedure itself was painful and felt like a constant pressure for about 5 seconds. Apparently the procedure was about a minute, but I swear it felt like 5 seconds. I threw up when getting dressed which is normal because the gas makes you woosy. I had a ball of paper towels between my legs and had to put a period pad on later for any bleeding. If you have your own pain killers, you can take them, if not you're out of luck in recovery.stuck with the cramping pain. Recovery is with the rest of the group. I had an easy abortion while some of the other girls said theirs was PAINFUL. I was out of recovery in about 40 mins and drive myself home. I was told they would book a follow up appointment, which they didn't, but I just wanted to go home and sleep so I didn't bother asking
