He’s a great listener, patient, wise and can really guide you through the process to self discovery, self awareness, self confidence and most importantly (IMHO) self love. I have been in therapy off and on since I was 15. Some were chosen for me when I was younger and some I chose myself as an adult. Jim Dolan is the only therapist that has truly worked for me. His education in the field is exemplary and his decades long experience is amazing. Jim’s approach is organic and conversational. There are no questionnaires or homework writing exercises. He sat and spoke with me, one human to another. One of his most endearing qualities is to speak of his own life experience so that I did not feel like a specimen being examined but another human being getting through life. Jim’s priority is not mercenary but truly for the health and happiness of his clients. There was more than one time when I was in a difficult emotional place that he reached via text or phone call outside of our session to check on me. I recommend Jim Dolan on a regular basis. Jim has my ultimate respect as a professional and my everlasting gratitude for the health and happiness I have found through my work with him.
