image Interstate Batteries in Delaware...just came into our small family owned repair shop today and notified us that they were no longer servicing businesses of our size. We have been a good customer with Interstate Batteries for years. They have abandoned us without any notice. They just dispatched a driver to pick up batteries that are sold on consignment. Who does business like this? These actions do not glorify God.

THIS IS THERE PURPOSE FROM THEIR WEBSITE

To glorify God and enrich lives as we deliver the most trustworthy source of power to the world.
We fulfill our purpose by doing business based on biblical principles – such as honesty, humility, service and care – in a way that is welcoming and loving to all. As a company contributor, you are free to interact with the purpose in whatever way is most meaningful to you. Our values, however, are unchanging, and we ask that our team members try their best to live them as they serve our key stakeholders: team members, customers, distributors and franchisees, suppliers and vendors, communities and shareholders. By creating a welcoming and caring environment, we hope to create a positive experience for our team members and everyone else whom Interstate touches, no matter their background or belief system

THEIR VALUES...FROM THE WEBSITE

Our Purpose is why we exist. Our Values drive how we go about that existence and represent who we are.

Along with Interstate’s seven values, team members inspire and encourage each other by sharing an eighth value that’s as special and unique as every person’s fingerprint.

HOW IT STARTED... FROM THE WEBSITE

When John Searcy founded Interstate Batteries in 1952, his vision was for the company to help its team members, distributors and partners provide for their families and give back to their communities. Selling batteries was just a vehicle to accomplish a much broader goal. He wanted to make his company about something more than profits, to work in a way that would please God. John treated people as he would want to be treated and modeled this well to his whole team, including our Chairman Norm Miller. When Norm began to run the company in 1978, he held true to these ideals and within a number of years Norm included “to glorify God” in our mission statement. In 2013, we further defined our purpose and articulated a set of core values with input from all our key stakeholders.

HOW IT ENDS.....

They screw over small businesses. I assume the management of Interstate chooses to ignore the teachings of God. Their actions will be met and judged by a higher power. They should read what they post as a corporate mission statement and adhere to that or honestly post what the corporate values are. Just another example of how...actions speak louder than words!

We learned a long time ago....when people tell you who they are... believe them!
Well...we received the message...loud & clear!

image I purchased a new boat and it came with the interstate battery. After 1 yr it stopped working. Call Cabelas and was told to call the interstate battery directly, bad idea. The guy told me he was in Arizona and couldn't help me. This is very bad business. Your battery goes out in 1 year and you refuse to replace it....

image Got a motorcycle battery a month a go said it was ready to go put it in and rode 60 miles stopped and got gas wouldn't start had to get a jump rode it back home charged it and my charger kept reading fault so charged another battery my charger worked fine, so I drove 45 miles to OKC they wouldn't replace or give me my money back until they put a full charge on it so they could test said it will take 2 to 3 hours was very rude so now I have to either stay here until they call or drive 45 miles back home would not recommend getting anything from this location 6920 Broadway ext OKC should be zero star's.
