At the end of 2020 I contacted DexYP and told them I wasn't reupping the contract. After being run around, I was told that my (contract) didn't expire until June of 2021, I verbally told them to cancel at the end not to renew and followed up with written cancellation. I continued to pay till June and again gave written notice NOT to renew again. Of course I continued to receive bills with late charges. About 6 week ago I was contacted by a customer relations agent, how was it going? I said I'm so glad you called...............I explained everything again and was told it would be taken care of. I continued to receive bills and now the balance is up to $169.92 with threats to go to collection. I understand their industry is dying BUT stay far-far-away. I'm not paying another cent, what a ripoff!

I was with YP which became DEXYP and now Thryv. It has been a nightmare. 2 years ago they never called to review my account, the new website was a mess, the account representative lied to me. This past fall I inquired and was told I HAD NO CONTRACT. I informed them end of 2020 I was done. They continued to bill me, after many phone calls they finally closed the account and now are hounding me for back payment and threatening collection. I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

We had have nothing but problems with Dex Yp since we started with them a few years ago. We were conned into thinking we NEEDED to use them to be in the phone book. We cancelled the service in October of 2020, they only cancelled the phone book, not the online. I called at the end of the year as were still getting bills. I have returned the bills to them clearly stating that we cancelled the service. I called again at the beginning of April, spoke to a man name Chris. He said it was going to be cancelled and we were good. Well, they sent another bill on May 1rst with additional charges on it. I called again today and they said they had no record of me canceling it until April. That is a flat out lie, as I did contact them. In reading the reviews for them online now, I can see that they have scammed most everyone that has dealt with them. I want the charges removed, and they refuse.
