DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY Here is an excerpt from my official complaint filed with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Keep in mind that this is after calling the dealer over 10 times, filing a police report in Carrollton TX. I still have not received the title to the vehicle that I purchased with cash: "It has now been 67 days since I made payment in full for this vehicle. I have not heard from or seen any indication that Emerge Auto or owner Wayne Reid has any legitimate intention of actually providing me with the title to the vehicle purchased from this dealership. I commute 80 miles round-trip every day and now have to rely on public transportation, which adds over two hours of commute time every day. I am hoping for a quick resolution to this situation, as all I am asking for is the title that I am rightly due." I can only assume at this point that I have been scammed. Save yourself a whole lot of time and stress and stay far, far away from Wayne Reid and the Emerge Auto Group.

THE BIGGEST SCAM ARTISTS EVER!! save yourself the trouble and go purchase a car somewhere else. Wayne (the owner) will act as if he really cares about you and will help you find the perfect car for you. Once you purchase the car it is a whole different ball game! I am STILL waiting for my title, plates and registration and keep getting the run around from Wayne as to why it is taking 3 months to get everything in my name. I continue to call and contact him and he gives me the excuse of being busy and behind and that he just needs a couple more weeks to get it fixed. I have opened a dispute with the Motor Vehicle Dealer Consumer Enforcement Division and I am working with a lawyer to get this guy Wayne out of the business of scamming innocent people trying to purchase a car. Honestly, it is not worth the trouble, I thought I was purchasing a car and now I am dealing with this BS because someone is trying to pull a fast one. so again DO NOT EVEN BOTHER GOING TO THIS PLACE. They have 2 locations that he does business at Emerge Auto Group off 3218 Skylane dr 75006 which is the location I bought the car at and he also does business at 11602 Reeder Rd 75229. When I went to the location I bought the car at the sales associate there told me that he no longer does business at this location and they could not help me with my problem. Either way this company is a joke and will be out of business soon enough for scamming people when they are trying to purchase a car. don't say that I didn't warn you.

To my regret, I add to the pool of people scammed by this low life Wayne Reed @ Emerge Auto Group. How many people did he defraud, before he said “enough” and decided to shield himself with the bankruptcy laws? (that’s what’s going on now – he’s filing for bankruptcy) My story resonates with what’s already said on Mr Reed and Emerge Auto Group here: the title has not been furnished after the purchase price was paid in full. Essentially, he engages in fraud by selling cars that he does not own free & clear – cars without a clean title, cars with a lien. What a pathetic con artist. His bankruptcy-related creditor/debtor meeting is March 10th 2014 at 9am. Email for address. Let’s meet him there.
