Why have a phone if you're going to take it off the hook, or it's constantly busy.

We had high hopes for this nearby BBQ joint but was sorely disappointed. Ordered a pound of sliced fat it appears, which came with NO SAUCE? What kinda of BBQ joint does not provide sauce with a pound of brisket(fat)? Why would a restaurant give 1 customer all the worst cuts? Please see the pictures. Tried a lot of the sides offered ( potato salad, braised green beans tons of black pepper, pasta salad, baked bbq beans) which were average at best. All in all a total disappointment with a super low value for the $50+ spent here, I would not recommend this place.

SO DISAPPOINTED... We were so looking forward to a new restaurant in South Dallas, unfortunately, what we found was cafeteria food. We ordered a lb of sliced, an order of pasta salad, green beans, baked beans & potato salad. First, the meat. I won't call it BBQ, because it was ALL FAT, and NO SAUCE!! There was no bite that I didn't spit out. Finally, my dining partner took a knife to the rest (to cut off the fat), but it was basically inedible. It was also so dry, that there wasn't much taste. Again, something sauce would've helped. If you're going to serve substandard meat, at least serve sauce to hide your mistake. On to the sides... It said the green beans were braised, which to mean means cooked slow, low heat, w/bacon or brisket. What we got was hard green beans with so much pepper, it burned my mouth. NOT BRAISED! They had no meat taste AT ALL! All you could taste was the pepper. The potato salad was meh. It was basically some over cooked, some under cooked potatoes, mustard & egg. I've had better potato salad at cafeterias. The baked beans were the best part of the whole meal, (which isn't saying much) but we ended up using the baked bean sauce to cut the fatty meat. UNACCEPTABLE! What's worse, we spent a lot of money (for a birthday dinner), and what we got mainly went to the trash & the dogs. Don't spend $60 for dog food, cause that's what you'll get.
