I had been here before about a year prior and thought I'd give it another try; When I walked in there were two folks behind the bar and not many patrons but it took a long time and a couple "Hello!'"s to get the server's attention. The main (better English speaking) person never even looked at me the whole time I was there(!) The guy who helped me did his job but never smiled; was not real friendly AT ALL. The food was just OK. They DID make an OK Irish coffee. Then the music started - LOUD (even for me!) and a mix of hardish core rap and pop. Outside where folks were playign volley ball, the music was actually perfect!! mellower (yet not too mellow) selection and actually QUIETER than inside(!). For young people it might be fine - but don't expect a friendly place with any good service, sorry.

My husband and I moved nearby and decided to check this place out. First, the good: this place has some great karaoke- you don't have to wait long to sing, and since noone is very good, it's a comfortable atmosphere for newbies to sing in. The pool tables, while warped, are fun and usually easy to get on, and there's a lot of volleyball outside with the pool. Also, the inside is no smoking, which is great. The bad: The one time that friends and family ate here everyone got sick... NOT fun! The food was average bar food in any event, but the stomach virus was not welcome! Our major complaint is the horrible service by EVERYONE here, including the owner! I was really surprised at that, but it takes forever to get a drink. We've been there 8+ times and we thought maybe it was because we were new at first, but last time a guy that walked up was served even though my brother and I had been waiting for over 5 minutes. When I mentioned this to the owner (who served him) he WALKED AWAY and it was another 5 minutes before one of the (snotty) bartenders then took our order. It's beyond frustrating. I recommend you go somewhere where the money you pay actually makes a difference in the service you get. And finally, this isn't the cheapest bar around, which you would think from the atmosphere: there margarita's are $7, which I'd pay for an exotic frozen drink at a good restaurant, but here in a "backyard bar" it adds up fast.
