I have trusted motor cars made mint to work on the sunroof and the panoramic roof on several my Mercedes cars for more than a decade. The quality and attention to the details has been superb. I highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for someone who loves what he does and looks at the details, this is a great place for Convertible tops repairs.

For years I had wanted an Alfa Romeo convertible and also knew when I found one, I would want it restored by someone who took pride in their work. My husband was purchasing a new top for it and Jason, who owns Motor Cars Made Mint, was recommended by the top manufacture as someone local to install the top. We could not have been happier with Jason's work, as his attention to detail is excellent. He is wonderful to work with and made the interior, top, dash, doors, and all the updates of my Alfa Romeo look like show room quality. I highly recommend Jason and will definitely use him again.

I have a 2011 Porsche Panamera (Base/V6, purchased new at Park Place Porsche in late 2010) which started to get a bit of a droopy headliner in Feb 2019, mainly above the back seats. By April 2019 the ENTIRE headliner had come unglued, making the car almost undrivable :-( Between friends, Google/Yelp, and the local PCA club, I narrowed down six (6) different shops, which I set out to visit - because I am quite OCD about where I take my cars for service/maintenance/etc. Of all six shops visited, I liked Jason's (the owner of Motorcars Made Mint) the most, by quite a large margin. The shop itself was in perfect order/immaculate, with a spotless epoxied floor, and with all tools neatly arranged on shelving and specialty carts. Jason is quite the consummate professional: very talented (as it turned out), knowledgeable, and extremely patient - with all my ( probably incessant ) questions I kept throwing at him, both in person over multiple visits, as well as over the phone. He went as far as to order additional, much larger samples (1ft x 1ft) from the manufacturer, as I could not decide on the exact match to the OEM material colour, simply by just looking at his regular catalog of material swatches. Jason did a fantastic job at installing the new headliner material; there is literally absolutely no difference from the old one, from the Porsche factory. Almost three months after the install, I have ZERO rattles/squeaks or any other annoying noises. Which is a true testament to Jason's talent, as he had to remove and reinstall hundreds and hundreds of screws, plastic clips and retainers, wire harnesses, etc, etc, not to mention the glass sunroof and the huge composite backing-form, that the actual headliner material gets glued onto. In retrospect, I regret not taking several pictures of the disassembled guts and posting them here, as they would have been a real eye-opener into the daunting task of what's involved in redoing a headliner. Please be aware that this shop apparently is quite busy and one should not expect to be able to get an appointment the next day. In my case I had to wait almost four weeks, which was absolutely fine with me. FWIW, during this wait period I visited Jason's shop twice, and every time his shop was filled with two cars that he was working on. They ranged in models from Ferrari 360 Spider / Porsche 993 to 196x GTO convertible / 196x Ford Mustang convertible. My car took three full days to get completed. When it comes to price, Jason's quote represented an excellent value, as it was almost exactly in the middle of the bell-curve of all six quotes I obtained from all shops, and the quality of his workmanship turned out to be outstanding. When it comes to comparing to the $6000.00 that the Porsche dealer wanted to get the headliner fixed...there is NO COMPARISON, period !
I would wholeheartedly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get headliner, convertible top or upholstery work done to their car.
