Rod was awesome and went above and beyond to try and find me an apartment that would fit our needs. I really appreciate the time and care everyone put into looking for what I needed. Unfortunately, the move in dates didn’t align with what they had available, but I would have loved to call this place home.

Place is great and the staff in there is incredible especially Jessica BERGSTROM she is an absolute rockstar and that lady deserves a raise. She was able to work w me and my roommates challenges and get us into a comfy apartment that fits all of our needs exactly

Finishing up my 3.5 years living here and I'm sad to be moving out soon! Not because I'm unhappy, I actually have NEVER had a problem living here. I just know I want to start a family soon and I do want quiet and living in Deep Ellum, I know it's best for me to move out. Anywho, I've enjoyed living here and as any place, it has good and bad things but I know things that are in the control of management they do great! Things like: putting events for residents, maintenance comes by within 24/48 hours. They love my pupps and are super helpful if you're not a jerk to them or spend all your time complaining about the smallest things, they have bigger problems to deal with. Reality is, we live in Deep Ellum, the bad stuff that you read about in other reviews is true but it comes with the territory and management can't control everything.. They've tried so hard to hire security and sometimes they are not very efficient but again. It's not management's fault, that's the security company. Also would advise, if your personal life needs quiet, don't live by the pool. The young professional adults who work regular business hours, M-F 8-5pm are looking to relax and will have music out by the pool or while they are grilling out. Sucks to see people complain on the complex pages when it's 3pm on a Saturday. Just don't live by the pool and don't expect quiet, you live in Deep Ellum! Last point, THANK YOU CWS for the amazing Brian and Jessica (I haven't been inside the office since covid so not sure about the other ladies, apologies, nothing personal). I was looking into other CWS properties but afraid I won't find managers as responsive and attentive as them!

I recently had a flat tire and I was pretty much stuck but but Jaime, the maintenance guy. before he could even start his shift he helped me fix my tire and not only did he have all the tools that I needed he actually did most of the work he saved me really I really appreciate what he did

My time at Marquis on Gaston has been amazing and the price for being in Deep Elum is reasonable compared to other apartments. It's a five minute walk to bars and restaurants in Deep Elum. These apartments are ideal for first time renters and newlyweds. All of my maintenance requests or issues are resolved within a day or two. The only complaint i have is the visitors rules on parking. Visitors are able to park in the fourth level in the parking garage. Beware some visitor hit my brand new truck around 3AM. She was intoxicated and uninsured and security never called the police. She was trying to leave the scene but thankfully my neighbor was able to stop her. Security came when my neighbor notified them and knew she was uninsured and drunk. He never attempted to notify the police and he just let her go. Visitors are out of control in the parking garage driving fast and breaking glass bottles all around the garage. I notified management and they didn't do anything about it.
