    My partner, pup, and I all love living here! Our loft is SO beautiful, and the facilities are well-maintained. The community is soooo friendly, and I absolutely love each member of the staff. *Knock on wood* but I've really never had issues trying to find free parking on the street. Overall such a wonderful experience!

    Very rude Black lady we encountered yesterday. Im a realtor, I brought a client friend with me. I was looking for myself as well. Very unwelcoming, rude, and just bitter. I noticed she was nice to my client, but obviously thats very fake. Be kind to everyone. Not a place Id recommend to ppl

    I loved living here, despite the occasional plumbing leakage problems - until out of nowhere they decided they didnt want to renew leases with artists who also conduct business in their loft. When I was moving here back in 2019 I asked a zillion times to the management if it was ok I do photos in my loft and show my address on google - they told me of course, half the building is like you and then mid May 2022, after Greystar took over management, Janell gave us the news that our leases were not going to renew. I get that some of the businesses were doing shady stuff but I was one in front row actually helping the management to get rid of those shady people. Whenever my loft flooded twice within a week, I didnt even take legal action - I was understanding (old building, eh) and oked $1000 rent credit vs my 4-5K damage if the track lights stopped working, I paid out of pocket to replace it so the already overwhelmed maintenance staff didnt have to spend time for that. When I had extra closet systems worth $200-300 that I wasn't going to use in my unit, I gifted them to the building. I literally took care of my place like its my own - and its sad that were only monthly money senders. With my life depending completely on my business, my business being my sole income and my sole income depending on GOOGLE SEO - and they showed no mercy to those businesses who live in harmony with everyone else, I'm asked to not do business or leave. Im not even waiting for my lease to end. Im moving out tomorrow, 6/2/22. Good luck to anyone Im leaving behind as Greystar already is messing up with our community, making it a robo-apartment complex with no soul. The only thing Im going to miss are my neighbors, the original manager Vanessa, our original maintenance staff Laura and Albert - but for the rest of the management I have no good thoughts/feelings/wishes for them. I hope they end up with such problematic people that theyll wish they never got rid of us, all good tenants. Mitchell lofts is not the same from what I was introduced to 3 years ago. *****Update 9 months later**** Greystar, who took over the management around the time I left (who most likely made up the rule no more leasing to businesses leaving me and my business very vulnerable, forcing me to figure out and find somewhere else to live/work asap) sent me a move-out statement for around $1500 dear Greystar, I still have all the videos from the mental, financial and emotional rollercoasters yall put me through. You want more money? Lets go to court. But you can make sure I will counter sue you for ALL damages those back to back leaks, you forcing me out of my settled life and so much more. ****17 MONTHS 1 WEEK UPDATE**** They not only ruined my life, theyre trying to take more money from me :) screenshot attached. Im happy to show what Mitchell lofts is all about. Feel free to email me and dont get yourself in a headache situation like we did. If you want loft living with an actual good management company, come to Southside on Lamar - Ive been here since February 2023 and after seeing how they do things here, Mitchell lofts is garbage. Oh, did I mention the building owner Noah. Allen me personally to ask this I remove his name from my review? Oh and apparently the building made me sign an NDA (according to a newer tenant that they did dirty to) and supposedly they paid me hush money so I dont give them a headache? They just full of s**t. They have no clue how to manage a multi-family building. Lookup Southside on Lamar and Lantower if you want industrial loft - Ive been with them since February 2023 and Im so much happier. Everything is well maintained, clean, e dry thing gets fixed same day. At Mitchells the manager had left when I had Niagara Falls in my loft - and I let him know within minutes he not only left because it was end of his shift but he didnt bother to call the maintenance Stay away from Mitchell Lofts. I STILL keep all the videos from all their nonsense.
