My neighbor had their door kicked in, both elevators have broken down, there's mold in the vents, the garage opener only works 70% of the time, and maintenance leaves the apartment a mess every time they work. Only thing this apartment has going for it is the location.

MAA Meridian is a great apartment and the maintenance staff is amazing; however, the recent 12% rent increase is unreasonable. I have one of the older apartments here with white cabinets and plastic countertops, even the Property Manager when spoken to was shocked by this as well as the fact that the apartment does not even come with a microwave. There is only one property manager for 3 buildings here, so it shows how much MAA cares about its residents. The staff was not able to justify the price increase and the explanations just seem disingenuous; opportunities to negotiate were also shot down. There was trash out in the pool deck for weeks and the lamps by the pool are unkempt making it dark. Ultimately I will resign the lease; however, the value does not meet with the product and they appear to price out their own residents.

Took more than a month to get garage access, moved in with no washer/dryer or mail keys (despite being told it was available), unresponsive staff, pool area has been very dirty, SmartLock front door system was faulty on move-in.
