Budget Car Rental

I rented a car at Tampa, FL airport. Long story short; I returned the car to the Airport and received the receipt afterwards and they tried to charge me an extra charge of $21.84. A couple days later I called their customer service and found out what the charge was for; an unfilled fuel tank. Will I certainly did fill up the tank before returning the car. Anyway, customer service said they would remove the charge. However, a week later and it's still on my charge card. I will never rent from Budget again! It's disgusting how they try and pad charges....probably hoping people won't notice....very dishonest!

I recently had the opportunity to experience renting a car through Budget Car Rental and wanted to share my feedback to anyone considering using this business. I must express my disappointment with the handling of the security deposit process. Despite the rental being prepaid, I was forced to provide a security deposit. Furthermore, it has been two weeks since I returned the car, and I have yet to receive a refund for a security deposit. I've attempted to contact your team multiple times via phone, but unfortunately, I have not received any response or call back. This lack of communication is concerning and reflects poorly on the customer service experience and the company itself. Moving forward, I believe there are opportunities for improvement in transparency regarding security deposit policies and responsiveness to customer inquiries. As a result of this experience, I plan to escalate this matter to your corporate office and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Thank you for considering my feedback. I remain hopeful for a prompt resolution and improved customer service practices.

Will not use Budget again. Did not get my deposit back. I prepaid. Then paid a deposit at pickup. Needed an extension. At drop off I paid for the extension. Called about my deposit, they told me I probably need to contact my bank to release the payment. I am getting the run around from Budget. I will never use them again.
