We worked with Essen and had them cater our 100+ wedding, and the food was phenomenal! Jill and her team were a pleasure to work with. From the tasting through the big day, they were communicative and helpful as we figured out our wedding details. Our guests loved the food, especially the churro bar! Would highly recommend Essen!

Essen Catering did my wedding on 3/23/23 at Boxwood Manor in Tomball, TX. I cant say enough good things about Essen Catering. We had multiple tastings with them as we changed our mind about they type of food we wanted for our wedding. They did what we wanted with no questions asked and even made recommendations to help our menu flow! The food is PHENOMENAL. You can tell the chef and his team are passionate about producing the highest quality food. Our wedding guests are still talking about the food at our wedding. If you want a caterer that will make a menu unique to your day, Essen Catering is the team for you! Thank you guys so much for everything, our day was perfect and a big part of that is all thanks to you!

I recently used ESSEN for our wedding catering and they blew me away! There was no one else that was willing to make a special menu curated for our day except for Essen! My husband and I wanted to do breakfast for dinner and they executed everything beautifully with high end and tasty food. Our guests could not stop raving about the food as well as our midnight snack from Essen as well. I cannot recommend this team enough!

Essen Catering was so wonderful to work with during our wedding planning from the very beginning starting with our initial tasting. We showed up an hour late to our tasting because of weather/traffic, but Jill and the Essen team did not rush us or make us feel worse about being late. Instead, they took the time to allow us to enjoy each course, took notes on our comments/questions, and created a detailed plan for next steps. Additionally, we had requested an extra appetizer to taste and Jill and Chef were so gracious to be able to make this exception for us. Through the next couple of months of wedding planning, Jill was always incredibly responsive through email, attentive, and was always available for questions that we had (and we had many!). One of our challenges was our guest size of about 300 people and a tight budget. We appreciate Jill's honesty and expertise in helping us stay within our budget, such as certain unnecessary equipment to be rented, the number of appetizers for cocktail hour, etc. while other catering vendors may do the opposite to make more of a profit! This is one of the many reasons why we truly trusted Jill and Essen Catering with all of our catering decisions. We trusted Jill to word and basically create our menus, to choose our vegetarian entree dish, the number of passed appetizers to order, the amount of late night snacks to order, and whether our salads should be served or preset based on our timeline - and we definitely made the right choice in trusting Essen with all of this and more. On our wedding day, we had zero worries when it came to our catering team. They executed the cocktail hour and reception catering flawlessly. Our guests absolutely loved all of the food - the unique appetizers (chicken and waffles, duck empanadas, and elote cup), fresh salads, entrees (salmon, NY strip, or polenta cake), and late night snacks (grilled cheese with and without pulled pork). After the wedding night was over, we were so happy and grateful that the Essen team packed plenty of appetizers, 4 entree courses, desserts, and late night snacks for my husband and I to enjoy. This was SO helpful for us that night and the next couple of days! Essen Catering was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception. 10/10 recommend!! Another thing we would like to add about working with Jill - not only did we fully trust her, but Jill is incredibly personable. Wedding planning can be very stressful, but when you get to work with someone like Jill - it's enjoyable and fun! We truly feel like Jill is our friend, not just a vendor at our wedding, and are so happy to have made those memories with Jill and the Essen team!
