Home2 Suites by Hilton College Station

Avoid this hotel! We are Hilton Honors members and trust that when we stay at a Hilton property that it will feel clean and comfortable. This place is anything but! Sheets are gray and threadbare, dirt on the floor and couch, hair in the shower and bathroom sink, damage to the walls and straight up gross, which caused me to have a horrible nights sleep.

Home2 College Station has dirty, outdated rooms with worn-out furnishings. Fitness center equipment is broken. Not remotely up to usual Hilton standards.

My business trip ended in College Station Texas. Usually I stay at Hilton chain at either Home2 or Homewood Suites are my top 2 choices. Last time I was in College Station, I stayed at Homewood and had a good experience there. This time around, there was no vacancy and choose Home2. Mixed feelings with this one. I picked my room (like I usually do) with the Hilton App on the top floor. When it was time for my digital key, I was moved to the 4th floor. Wasn't a deal breaker until I realized my room was next to the elevator. Front desk never offered an explanation as to why I was moved and there were no other rooms available. My digital key only worked in certain areas of the hotel. Room layout was like any other Home2 I stayed at but the A/C unit was very loud. Ended up wearing ear plugs to compensate for the noise. Location was the highlight as it was close to the business where I was consulting. Breakfast options was better than other Home2 location. Hopefully when you stay there, your experience will be better than mine.
