Our family tried out Tu Asador because we didn’t have a plan for dinner and no one could agree on any place. The ambiance is very nice and modern. The potato chips served with hot sauce (not salsa) at the beginning are lightly friend and are absolutely delicious! Tu Asador is not a Tex-Mex restaurant. This is a Mexican Steakhouse with a very modern twist. I absolutely love the idea. I ordered the Discada, which is a dish made with pork, sausage, sirloin, bacon, and chorizo, topped with melted queso fresco. Do not order this dish as a main course or on its own. If you want some sort of greens with it, order some greens or vegetables. Again, this is not an American nor Texan steakhouse. You’re not going to get a fully-loaded baked potato with sour cream and chives here. Be sure to read the menu well. However, the food looks and smells amazing! I hope this review was helpful.

The food was incredible! Highly recommend the jalapeño poppers, the steaks and the baked potato. The service was also great. Very authentic Mexican food.

Good service. Excellent pina colada. Unfortunately that's where the pro list ends. Their idea of chips & salsa is a bowl of potato chips served with a bottle of Tabasco. In all fairness my wife liked it I did not. My entree was somewhere between ehh & no thanks. The wife said her tuna steak was very rubbery and her vegetables were dripping with oil. Maybe some people really like it it's a very nice place Unfortunately we did not.
