Ron's Apothecary Shop

When they were open, I would give them 5 stars any day of the week. But closing without any notice to any of their customers, felt pretty let down. With all the long standing customers they had, they should have let them know they had sold out to a big conglomerate that will never get my business! Feels like their customer loyalty went as far as the register.

Great customer service, they get you done in 15 minutes or less, unlike many other local pharmacy's. Best place in North Texas.

I would give Ron's 5 stars. The 1 star is for CVS and their inept handling of acquisition of Ron's with respect to customer service and failure to modify or delete Ron's Apothecary website. We used Ron's Apothecary Shop for compounded prescriptions for over 10 years with wonderful service, even mailing prescriptions to our home.. Unfortunately, I tried to request a refill on line on about July 10 and got no response. I talked to our primary care provider and they did not have a request for a refill. I called the Ron's phone number and was transferred to a CVS pharmacy. The automatic system didn't recognize the prescription number. I transferred to an agent and was informed that CVS had bought Ron's and had no access to the compounding prescriptions and that CVS is not a compounding pharmacy., Unfortunately, CVS didn't take down Ron's website. On the on-line prescription request app, as of today, one can request a prescription. This can be a critical health issue.

I have been clean off heroin since 8:45 AM, September 19th, 2014 because suboxone therapy and the amazing service, knowledge, discretion, and general goal of trying to save you as much money as possible, the great pharmacy of Burleson, Ron's Apothecary. With their ability to provide absolutely amazing generics on the spot or the next day(believe me), that they simply asked you to price check against good rx so they could beat it. A company that was actively helping the client. Normally at Ron's I would pay around $140 for my prescription. At CVS it is closer to $600. I will miss them. You walk in with a prescription and it was done in 5 minutes. No long line at Walgreens or CVS. My most sincere thanks and wishes to the owners, pharmacists, technicians, and all other staff, this apothecary will be sorely missed. Thank you, for saving my life.
