Went to this place on 9-9-17 gor a special birthday dinner. Walked in and Noone was there about 6:30 PM A lady met us and said she had only been there 3 days and they were under new ownership. The buffet was only fried fish about 5 pieces in bend and some barbeque that taste and looked like it had been cooked 3 days ago and warmed up. The beans looked like they had been warmed up three days in a role. No buffet only corn on cob..beans..catfish that was half done... and stale ribs...hush puppies and she said we will have some hot water cornbread later. When she brought it out 4 pieces and it was like eating mill......no taste at all. .. worst food I have ever tasted ... But the big suprise was 38.00 for nothing.... this place needs to close down . Would not recommend going there for nothing. As we were leaving another couple came in they didn't eat anything either. Left their food on the table. Said they would not be back.

Went down on 9-9-2017. It had been several years since eating there and we were looking forward to great catfish. Well that didn't happen, worse food I've ever ate and then pay for. $ 39 . Maybe 6 items on the so called buffit. Limp catfish, maybe 6 pieces on the pan. Sickning compared to the way it was before. The little bit of salad there looked unsafe to eat, brought catsup to us in a bowl. Asked for lemon and was told we have it in a package. We were the only people there. Should have took off running then. I could put more down but will just say, the worse excuse for a resturant I've ever seen in my 65 years.

For a small country place its really nice. If you want to see the locals come after church on Sundays. Wear your caps and your jeans. It ain't fancy. The food is fried and good. Fried fish, fried potatoes, sausage links, etc. Buffet style with great Southern Ice Tea.

We visited Catfish Junction on 6-13-2015 and we were extremely disappointed. Not only was the food overpriced, it was tasteless, way overcooked and most of it was premade and frozen. (Like what you would buy from the freezer section.) When we arrived there wasn't much on the bar, so we thought "OK, fresh food is coming." It did come, but 15 minutes later. We had to wait several times for food and when they did refill the bar, it wasn't enough to feed people. So, we had to wait again. The veggies tasted canned and had a film on some of them from where they hadn't been stirred or turned in what looked to be hours. There was one woman working the floor (Very sweet woman, she worked super hard to get the whole restaurant drinks...alone.) I remember 10-12 years ago you had to wait in a line outside to get inside because it was so packed. There was maybe 6-7 families on a Saturday night at 6 pm. When the elderly man's mother passed away as well as himself, the placed just has never been the same. I usually don't do reviews, but the food was so disappointing I felt I had to. Maybe if more things on the bar had flavor and were homemade, it would taste better. You could tell some stuff was homemade, but once again, it had no flavor. I'm also not trying to tear this business apart because it has the potential to be so much better and worth the drive.
