Our daughter just purchased a home that was built by New Summit Homes 15 months ago. When she inquired about the warranty, Jerri, the owner said that the warranty does not transfer. This is extremely disappointing considering this is a million dollar home. Either you stand behind your product or you don't. The ownership should not be a deciding factor.

We purchased our home in Oct of 2016 and have been very impressed with the quality construction, energy efficiency, and service we have received from New Summit Homes. Our power bill is less with the 4700 square foot home than it was for our 1500 sq foot condo. New Summit addressed EVERY SINGLE ITEM on our inspection without question! We moved in and anytime we have had an issue they are addressed immediately by Ricky..our new best friend.. who we will miss seeing once our warranty is over...maybe we will just have to sell and buy another New Summit Home;) I see so many new builds that are bright and shiny until people move in and then the house falls apart. Our experience has been just the opposite. We are very happy with New Summit and would recommend them to anyone. We've actually discussed moving in the future, buying a lot out in the burbs and we will definitely have New Summit build the house for us. As for the other review on New Summit here on Google, the home warranty on their homes as well as any other new build ive ever seen is only good for 1 year.
