La Quinta Inn Beaumont Midtown

This was a decent La Quinta but thanks to Niesy I will never stay there again. I had a terrific experience the first night. Everyone was kind and polite and very attentive. Upon check out I checked availability with the front desk in case I needed an additional stay the following night. The front desk attendant checked and said not a problem we have more than enough vacancies. Upon arrival which I paid taxi fare for I was told by Niesy that there were absolutely no vacancies. Then she corrected herself to say oh I think there is one smoking double on the second floor. I gave her ID and my credit card because I had already paid for the cab and I told her this should be all you require but I would like to pay cash instead of accumulating interest on the card. The night before they took cash without any problem. So I was told by Niesy that was absolutely impossible so I called the rewards number which I have been a member of for a very long time and was told not only was there availability there were over 20 rooms available that fit my preferences. I filed a formal complaint with La Quinta and have not heard back so basically I just need an address to return my rewards card. Terrible experience.
