I stopped here on my way home. Best vegan food I've had hands down. It was nice ordering food here because I didn't have to make any substitutions because it's all vegan! Even though it was a slower night, the service was really good, and my food came out fast. My basil berry mocktail was light and refreshing. The flame Grilled Tofu Sandwich was full of flavor (I will say if you prefer a more firm tofu, you may not like the texture). The Yuca fries were good, although I didn't like the house made ketchup. My favorite was the Spicy Cajun Cauliflower. They tasted so much like Buffalo wings, and the sauce it came with was so delicious, I asked for a to go container of it. I will definitely be back and plan on bringing some friends.

Good Vegan Spot, breakfast lunch and dinner. Cool vibe, both relaxed and fun. If there's too long a wait at Piknik, this is a great backup. Bigger menu, lots of options, burger was good, breakfast sandwich was pretty good. The non meat meats were OK, the burger more than the breakfast. Full disclosure I'm not vegan, just going along with my dining partner. Coffee was good too, probably should have looked into a Latte type option. Would recommend to GF, DF, or Vegan eaters. Plenty of parking, even a small patio. Service was just OK, got the orders right but not all the extras, at least not on the first try. Sounds like a good Happy Hour, we were there for late breakfast/early lunch. Thanks Citizen!

First time trying Citizen in Austin! We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and vibe. Totally hipster vibe. We had the Flapjacks, side of citizens fries, scrambled eggs, burger and mango mimosas. The portions were kind of small, but it was definitely fulfilling. Everything tasted great! Recommended dishes Citizen Fries, Flapjacks More

Nice place, good menu and OK service (I think they were understaffed the night I went). Everyone enjoyed their food, mine was OK; maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I'll have to try it again. Food : 4/5 | Service : 3/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 More

I absolutely enjoyed this spot! I ordered the Citizen Scramble and subbed the toast for a pancake because I needed something a lil sweet for breakfast, and I was not disappointed. The cheese sauce they put on the Just eggs scramble was delicious and had a lil kick. The pancake was simple yet delicious and dusted with cinnamon. My cousin ordered the Migas dish and is not a vegan, but absolutely enjoyed her meal. I highly recommend this spot, the prices were pretty average and breakfast was just around $20 with tip and my hot coffee. Vegetarian options: This restaurant is 100%vegan. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options just ask.
